Santander Masters Scholarships

Background information

Since 2012, Santander Universities has supported over 175 University of Stirling students by providing scholarships, travel grants and internships. The University is proud of our partnership with Santander and is grateful for this support which greatly enhances the Stirling experience for our students.

Up to six Santander Masters Scholarships are available to new University of Stirling students for the 2018-19 academic session. Each scholarship has a value of up to £8,000, tenable for one academic year, which will be awarded in the form of a reduction in tuition fees payable to the University of Stirling.

Scholarship applications are now open for courses commencing September 2018. Applications will be considered from eligible students who have applied for a full-time Masters programme with a start date of September 2018 or later in any subject. Scholarship applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Stirling, and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so.

Applications are welcomed from students resident in the 20 countries within the Santander Universities scheme:

Scholarships are awarded for students commencing their studies during the 2018/19 academic session, from September 2018.

Scholarships are available for one year only. 

Scholarships are paid by a reduction in tuition fee.

How do I apply?

Allocation Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their academic ability and the quality of their personal statement. Successful candidates will be notified as soon as possible.

Other information about this scholarship

  • Recipients of this scholarship cannot be in receipt of any other University of Stirling scholarship
  • Financial need cannot be taken into consideration.
