At the University of Stirling, we work with a broad range of funders who support our research activity – from Research Councils to Industry; from the European Commission to the Scottish and UK Governments; as well as public organisations, the Health Service and charities. Our researchers also carry out a number of activities related to innovation and enterprise, covering work such as consultancy, commercialisation, CPD, and knowledge exchange.
Working with such a diverse group of funders and collaborators requires efficient management and support. A range of Professional Services, including Research & Innovation Services, Finance, and Information Services work together to support the full funding lifecycle. Within Research & Innovation Services, research policy, innovation and enterprise development, and research systems development are supported and driven forward. Our Research Funding and Development Team can provide valuable input to your proposal, especially if they are involved from an early stage.
