Daniela provides specialist support for the development of European research projects, including intelligence on European funding opportunities, partnership and proposal development. She joined the University of Stirling in 2001, in marketing and business development within its Knowledge Transfer operation SURE (Stirling University Research & Enterprise). Since 2006, she has been working in REO (Research & Enterprise Office) as Business/Research Development Manager supporting a portfolio of academic areas with the development of research proposals. Before coming to Stirling, she worked for the Technology Transfer Node (TTN) of Edinburgh University’s EPCC (Edinburgh Parallel Computing Centre) and for several commercial companies in Scotland, Germany and Italy. She graduated from Justus-Liebig-University (Giessen, Germany) in Business and Languages in 1996 and obtained a PG Cert in Knowledge Transfer (AURIL/Open University) in 2006.
