Policy and strategy underpins the direction of Research and Innovation activities at the University of Stirling. Overall we are guided by the University of Stirling's Strategic Plan 2016-2021 which outlines our objectives to enhance our research profile by 100 percent; be one of the top 25 universities in the UK; to increase our income by £50 million and to enhance internationalisation. The University's Research Strategy 2015-2021 outlines the specific strategy through which we continue to conduct research that responds to society's needs.
To achieve these ambitious objectives Research & Innovation Services supports the development, implementation and ongoing application of policies which guide the way in which we conduct our research and enterprise activity; from continuing to build on our Research Excellence Framework 2014 performance through to supporting the development of innovative activities. Our research and enterprise, policies and strategies are embedded throughout all of our activities and you will find reference to these policies throughout the Research pages.
