Teaching quality

Stirling is a student focused institution and this is reflected in the quality of our teaching provision. A good measure of this quality is the University’s performance in external quality assessment of taught provision. The University of Stirling is consistently highly rated.

The most recent Teaching Quality Assessment rated Stirling in the top ten in the UK (Times Higher Education Supplement 2005). According to an external review in 2006, the quality of teaching and the academic standards of awards at Stirling are still amongst the best in Scotland.
