I'm an Anniversary Fellow, based in the Division of Psychology and the Division of Law & Philosophy at Stirling.
Prior to coming to Stirling, I held postdoctoral research positions at the Universities of Barcelona and Warwick. Whilst at Warwick I was a postdoctoral researcher on the AHRC Science in Culture 'Rethinking the Senses' project.
I completed my PhD in philosophy at the University of Edinburgh with a thesis titled 'The concept of self: thinking of oneself as a subject of thought'.
My research is in the philosophy of mind and psychology, focusing primarily on the nature of perceptual experience and the senses. I'm currently working on multisensory perception and the perception of events. I'm also interested in self-consciousness, first-person thought and the philosophy of action.
