About me

Craig holds a First Class BSci with Honours in Software Engineering from the University of Stirling. Based in Computer Science and Mathematics, he is currently working towards his PhD with a focus on using Gamification and Serious Games for Education, Outreach and Engagement in the Tree and Plant Health Sector. He is supervised by:

  • Dr. Savi Maharaj, Computer Science, University of Stirling
  • Professor Adam Kleczkowski, Mathematics, University of Stirling
  • Dr Glyn Jones, Economist, FERA Ltd

His doctoral work is a joint funded studentship between the: Department for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), University of Stirling Research and Enterprise Office, and the Computer Science and Mathematics department.

Outwith the PhD he is the lead organizer of StirHack, the Computer Club's annual hackathon (succ.cs.stir.ac.uk/stirhack), and sits on the Life in Data project led by Dr. Greg Singh and Dr. Eddy Borges-Rey of the University of Stirling.
