Research

My principal research interest is in the interaction between implicit (unconscious) and explicit (conscious) forms of memory. During my PhD I investigated the interaction between implicit priming and episodic memory using Event-Related Potential (ERP) and functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) techniques. I also have interests in the application of mobile brain imaging techniques (EEG) to investigate brain-behaviour links in naturalistic settings, encompassing a range of topic areas including embodied cognition, memory systems, spatial navigation and performance sport.
