I specialise in Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) and contribute to courses on TESOL theory and methodology.
I have taught in Japan, Taiwan, the UAE and the UK. In the UK, I taught at Newcastle and Durham Universities.
At Newcastle, I taught EAP and IT Skills in the Language Centre and was a visiting lecturer in TESOL in the School of Education. At Durham, I taught post-graduate courses in CALL and also taught on teacher development courses for teachers from the PRC.
From 2008 to 2011, I was Chair and Vice Chair of the Scottish Association for Teaching English as a Foreign Language (SATEFL). I am currently a committee member of SATEFL.
