My research interests include, domestication of marine finfish species, environmental entrainment of fish physiology and the development and application of aquaculture biotechnolgy.
I have a number of research interests including:
Environmental perception and the subsequent entrainment of behavioural and physiological rhythms like reproduction in teleosts.
Non visual light perception, Clock genes and circadian biology
Domestication of "new species" for marine aquaculture
Culture of marine organsisms not for consumption
Genomics & transcriptomics in non-model marine organisms
