I joined the Child and Wellbeing Team at the University of Stirling in 2019, after completing my masters in Applied Social Research (Criminology). My doctoral research explores how ‘transformation’ is conceptualised by third-sector projects that support young people with care experience. Drawing on qualitative and creative methods, I aim to understand how staff-members and young people encounter, shape and experience these projects. My research is funded by the Life Changes Trust.
I am also interested in social theories of emotion, creative research methods and issues pertaining to participation, co-production and empowerment.
