Professor John Gardner is a professor of Education. He has over 150 academic publications and has authored, co-authored or edited nine books, the most recent being: Public Understanding of Assessment (Editor, 2017, Routledge), Assessment and Learning (Editor, 2014, Sage, 4x volumes), Assessment and Learning 2nd Edition (Editor, 2012, Sage), The Classroom X-Factor (Co-author, 2011, Routledge) and Developing Teacher Assessment (Co-author, 2010, McGraw-Hill/Open University). He has presented numerous international keynote addresses and has been principal investigator for research projects exceeding £2.5million in total funding.
