Stirling Management School hosted a visit on 1 February 2023 by Associate Professor Dr. Kevin MacGabhann, Managing Director of the HERMES Association, and Director of International Relations at EM Strasbourg Business School.

HERMES stands for the Higher Education and Research in Management of European Universities, a strategic alliance that was established 25 years ago, and which Stirling Management School joined in 2021. HERMES has grown into a global network that currently comprises 29 University partners from five continents. Members work on collaborations that offer their communities common study programmes, dual degrees, PhD workshops, joint research, and staff and student exchanges. Stirling Management School is the only UK member and will host the General Assembly of the network in May 2024.

Stirling Management School Dean Professor Kevin Grant said: “being part of this prestigious network enables Stirling Management School to deepen its international cooperation with like-minded institutions, empowering students and staff to achieve their academic and professional goals, in line with the HERMES mission to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and understanding across borders”.
