University searches for ‘lost’ alumni

Back to news

The University of Stirling is keen to re-establish contact with former students who may have lost touch with the institution.

Lindsey Donald, Head of Development and Alumni Services at the University, said: “As we approach our 50th anniversary in 2017, we’re keen to re-connect with alumni who have become ‘lost’ over the years.

“Perhaps you’ve moved home and not forwarded your details. Or for some reason you’ve stopped receiving communications from us. Just contact us.

“We currently have over 70,000 alumni on our database, but are always searching for people we’ve lost touch with.

“We’re especially looking for graduates from the 1980s and 1990s. So if anyone can help us get in touch with these people, please let us know. We’re planning a year-long events calendar for our 50th anniversary and want to reach as many people as we can.”

Any former student wishing to get in touch can give their details online by visiting: www.stir.ac.uk/alumni/lost-alumni or emailing: alumni@stir.ac.uk

The University sends out regular e-newsletters and also produces an alumni magazine, Stirling Minds. You can see the latest issue by visiting www.stir.ac.uk/stirlingminds
