University of Stirling graduate Morgan Myles has been awarded a national prize for her work in community nursing.
Morgan was presented with the Queen’s Nursing Institute Scotland (QNIS) prize for the best Quality Improvement Practicum- a final year nursing project carried out in a community setting.
She was given the award – which included a certificate and a small cash prize - by QNIS Deputy Director Dr Jonathan Sher following the winter graduation ceremony on Friday 23 November.

Morgan, who graduated with a BSc Nursing, has been invited to attend a QNIS award dinner tomorrow (29 November) to celebrate her achievement.
Dr Sher said: “Valuing the hard work of students in Scotland who have excelled in their studies is important to our mission, to enable nurses to be catalysts for change in their communities.
“We want to encourage students to strive for excellence and feel passionate about a career in the community.”
