PSYPCO2: Core Psychology 2

This module covers the basics of psychology in an in-depth and accelerated fashion, enabling students to acquire the key concepts and core knowledge of psychology in its broadest sense. Core Psychology 2 introduces students to the following disciplines:

  • PSYU9A4 Brain and Behaviour: Understanding the biological bases of behaviour by exploring the biological underpinnings of neurological, neuropsychological and psychological disorders of the nervous system, as well as several common and important clinical disorders of behaviour, cognition and affect.
  • PSYU9AO Developmental:  Areas of child development, such as language acquisition, social, emotional, cognitive and behavioural development
