PG support - sources of funding for conferences, travel and equipment

The division provides research-related funding for postgraduates. This funding can be used for purchasing equipment, taking part in conferences (both national and international), postage costs for questionnaires, payment of field assistants, etc. One condition of applying for divisional funds is that an application is also made to an external funding source. Below are links to organisations which currently offer funds to postgraduate students. Please be sure to follow application procedures carefully, ensure that you apply well before deadlines, and verify whether you need to be a member of a society before applying for their funds.
