The School will feature five days of intensive training in multi-disciplinary research methods and skills in the field of Surveillance Studies. Alexander Bergstrom and Monika Gopal who are both completing the (BA Hons) in Marketing and Sophie Brown who is studying (BA Hons) in Business Studies and Marketing, will attend the Star Awards Gala Dinner on Thursday 9 June 2016. The winner will be awarded a three month paid placement at Maxxium, a premium liqueur and spirit brand based in Stirling’s Castle Business Park.
Six Universities from across Scotland nominated students to participate in an Apprentice Day event organised by award sponsor Maxxium. During the day students had to tackle a number of tasks developed by marketing agency Golley Slater. Following the Apprentice Day the Marketing Society announced the three top students from the day who would be shortlisted for the 2016 Star Marketing Student Award.

CRISP Director, Professor William Webster, has been appointed as a member of the Working Group formed by the Surveillance Camera Commissioner to advise on the implementation and development of the UK National Surveillance Camera Strategy.
