Welcome to the MSc International Accounting and Finance pre-arrival information page.  We hope you are looking forward to starting your Master’s degree at the University of Stirling Management School and look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful campus.

Stirling Management School will be running a number of events in September to ensure that you settle in quickly and that you understand how we can support you during your studies.  These events will include quantitative skills training workshops as well as other key skills development sessions and attendance will ensure that you get the most out of your studies at Stirling.

The Stirling Management School Induction Lecture will be held on Monday 11th September from 10.00-12.00 (Macrobert Main House Theatre) and the MSc in International Accounting and Finance Induction Meeting will be held on Monday 11th September 15:00-17:00 (Cottrell 2B84)

At the induction lecture you will meet your classmates and the academic staff who will be guiding your studies for the rest of the year. The Programme Director will explain the structure of the programme, discuss what we expect from you and take any questions that you may have.

Flying Start Leadership Programme

Your academic career at Stirling begins with The Flying Start Leadership Programme. The first two weeks of your timetable are dedicated to this pioneering Programme. Attendance is compulsory for all taught postgraduate students within Stirling Management School, and will be monitored throughout the duration of the Programme. Upon satisfactory completion, you will be awarded the 'Flying Start Leadership Programme Certificate of Participation'.

The Flying Start Leadership Programme is specifically designed to facilitate your transition into your academic studies by providing opportunities for you to meet and work with staff and fellow students, challenge your perceptions of culture, explore your beliefs and values, build your confidence and self-esteem, and encourage you to share your ideas. The Flying Start Leadership Programme equips you with the skills sought by graduate employers and will help you to effectively manage your chosen future career.
