Your academic career at Stirling begins with The Flying Start Leadership Programme. The first two weeks of your timetable are dedicated to this pioneering Programme. Attendance is compulsory for all taught postgraduate students within Stirling Management School, and will be monitored throughout the duration of the Programme. Upon satisfactory completion, you will be awarded the 'Flying Start Leadership Programme Certificate of Participation'.
The Flying Start Leadership Programme is specifically designed to facilitate your transition into your academic studies by providing opportunities for you to meet and work with staff and fellow students, challenge your perceptions of culture, explore your beliefs and values, build your confidence and self-esteem, and encourage you to share your ideas. The Flying Start Leadership Programme equips you with the skills sought by graduate employers and will help you to effectively manage your chosen future career.
