The Marketing project is structured to enable groups of 6 or 7 students to be assigned to the investigation of a particular marketing topic currently facing an individual organisation. At the end of the 11-week period the organisation will receive a written report and a group presentation on the conclusions and recommendations of their investigation. Previous clients have ranged from new firms through to international organisations in private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
During the autumn semester (September-November) it is taken as a final year core course by Honours degree students in Marketing and those who will graduate in Marketing as part of a combined degree. During the spring semester (January-April) it is taken by postgraduate marketing students. In both cases teams of student work on live company projects as part of their degree structure.
