Postgraduate courses

‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌The Accounting & Finance Division offers a stimulating environment in which to study for a postgraduate degree. Research active staff teach professionally relevant programmes informed by knowledge grounded in current research. The excellence of research activity in the School was reflected in the evaluation that 64% of our research outputs were classified as world-leading and internationally excellent in terms of their originality, significance and rigour.

Scholarships, studentships and funding are available on all of these MSc Programmes.

‌The CFA® Program Partner MSc in Investment Analysis covers 70% of CFA levels I, II and III. Each year students are invited to take part in the prestigious CFA® Institute Research Challenge.  In 2016, our team won the UK Final. Stirling team take gold at ‘Investment Olympics’.

‌‌In addition we offer the MSc in Finance and the dynamic MSc in International Accounting and Finance which provides graduates with ACCA exemptions.

Graduates of the MSc International Accounting and Finance are eligible for exemption from ACCA papers F1-F4. If Spring option module INVP007 Financial Statement Analysis has been completed, paper F9 and, if Spring option module ACCP006 Advanced Financial Reporting has been completed, paper F7.
