eduroam

Eduroam logoeduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity when visiting other  participating institutions.

As a member of staff or student from the University of Stirling you can now use eduroam on our campus and at other institutions. You will need to carry out some configuration of your device (smartphone / laptop) before you go so you should follow these instructions before leaving Stirling.

Connecting to eduroam when at an eduroam institution (not Stirling campus)

To connect to eduroam at a participating institution, connect to the eduroam wireless at the institution, and if it prompts for your username and password, enter the following:

Staff: enter yourusername@stir.ac.uk as the username and then your password.

Students: enter yourusername@students.stir.ac.uk as the username and then your password.

Technical support for connection to eduroam whilst you are in a participating eduroam institution remains with your home institution so you should contact the Information Centre in the event of difficulties in connecting to eduroam when off site.
