English Language and Study Skills

We want to make sure every student at the University of Stirling gets the most out of their time here. We have courses, workshops and support sessions to help international students with English language or study skills. No matter what stage of your studies you’re at, you can take advantage of these resources to ensure that your studying is effective, efficient and enjoyable.

In-sessional English language course

Are your English language skills holding you back in your studies? Our free in-sessional English support can help you achieve your full potential in your subject.

Designed for students who are already on their course, it bridges the gap between general English and the academic English needed to succeed at university. Delivered by INTO University of Stirling, you’ll benefit from specialist English language tutoring from experienced teaching staff.
