You can fly to either Edinburgh or Glasgow airports from a wide range of international and domestic airports.
Glasgow International Airport is about 1 hour away, and Edinburgh Airport approximately 45 minutes from our University campus, travelling by car or taxi. By bus it's 60 minutes from Edinburgh Airport to Stirling, and 1 hour and 20-50 minutes to Glasgow Airport.
MAW6
We normally require students studying towards the MAW6 to complete an appropriate Foundation programme for entry to undergraduate study. Find out more about our pathway options.
International Baccalaureate
We welcome applications from students studying towards the full International Baccalaureate diploma. Normally, applicants are required to obtain an overall score of between 26 - 34 points, depending on the programme they're applying to. Certain subjects may be stipulated dependent on the course being applied to.
We welcome applications from students holding a GPA of 2.5 in their undergraduate Bachelor’s
If English isn't your first language, you'll need to demonstrate a minimum level of English language proficiency. We accept a variety of tests, details of the minimum grades we require can be found on our English Language Requirements page.
Please also check the specific grades required for your chosen course by checking our individual course pages.
Submission of IELTS and other recognised English language tests may be waived on a case by case basis, if the medium of instruction at previous study was in English and within the last five years. We require an official letter from your university or college. Please note that this waiver does not apply for courses that require higher than an IELTS 6.0.
