Entry requirements

Undergraduate

Swiss Maturity Exam

Certificat de Maturité Federale / Maturitätszeugnis/ Attestato Di Maturità at grade 5.

International Baccalaureate

The University welcomes applications from students studying towards the full IB diploma. Normally, applicants are required to obtain an overall score of between 26 - 34 points, depending on the programme they are applying to. Certain HL subjects may be stipulated dependent on the programme being applied to.

European Baccalaureate

The University welcomes applications from students studying towards the European Baccalaureate. Normally, applicants are required to obtain an overall score of between 60 - 70%, depending on the programme they are applying to.

Postgraduate

Diplom/Staatsdiplom

The University welcomes applications from students holding a minimum of 5/6 in the Diplom/Staatsdiplom for entry to most Master level programmes.

Licence

The University welcomes applications from students holding a minimum of 7/10 in the Licence for entry to most Master level programmes

Diplôme d'Etat

The University welcomes applications from students holding a Gut in the Diplôme d'Etat for entry to most Master level programmes.

English language requirements

If English isn't your first language, you'll need to demonstrate a minimum level of English language proficiency. We accept a variety of tests, details of the minimum grades we require can be found on our English Language Requirements page.
