You can fly to either Edinburgh or Glasgow airports from a wide range of international and domestic airports. Emirates fly directly to Glasgow from Dubai twice daily, and Etihad offer daily direct flights to Edinburgh from Abu Dhabi. There's also regular connections from the Middle East to both Glasgow and Edinburgh with British Airways, KLM, Air France, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines and many others.
Glasgow International Airport is about 1 hour away, and Edinburgh Airport approximately 45 minutes from our University campus, travelling by car or taxi. By bus it's 60 minutes from Edinburgh Airport to Stirling, and 1 hour and 20-50 minutes to Glasgow Airport.
Direct Entry to 1st Year:
We require school leavers to complete a Foundation Year for entry to the University. Find out more about our pathway options.
Students with IB, A-Levels or the American High School Diploma can be considered for direct entry. Please see individual course pages for requirements.
We also welcome applications from students who have completed one year of university study in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
We welcome applications from students holding Bachelor's degrees with a minimum CGPA
If English isn't your first language, you'll need to demonstrate a minimum level of English language proficiency. We accept a variety of tests, details of the minimum grades we require can be found on our English Language Requirements page.
Please also check the specific grades required for your chosen course by checking our individual course pages.
Submission of IELTS and other recognised English language tests may be waived on a case by case basis, if the medium of instruction at previous study was in English within the last five years. We require an official letter from your University or College.
