Entry requirements

Undergraduate

Norwegian Vitnemal

The University welcomes applications from students holding a minimum of 3.5 in the Norwegian Vitnemal for entry to most undergraduate programmes.

Postgraduate

For entry to our postgraduate courses the following qualifications are equivalent to a UK bachelor's degree:

  • Bachelor degree (courses after 2003) – we would accept 2.8 or higher
  • Candidatus Magisterii (courses before 2002)
  • Sivilingeniør (siv.Ing. Engineering) - minimum of grade C
  • Siviløkonom (siv. øk - Economics) - minimum of grade C

English language requirements

If English isn't your first language, you'll need to demonstrate a minimum level of English language proficiency. We accept a variety of tests, details of the minimum grades we require can be found on our English Language Requirements page.
