Entry requirements


German Abitur

The University welcomes applications from students holding a score of a minimum 2.2 in the German Abitur depending on the programme being applied for. Please contact Admissions on admissions@stir.ac.uk for further details.


Diploma/ Staatsprufung

The University welcomes applications from students holding a minimum of 2.8 in the Diploma for entry to most Master level programmes.

English language requirements

If English isn't your first language, you'll need to demonstrate a minimum level of English language proficiency. We accept a variety of tests, details of the minimum grades we require can be found on our English Language Requirements page.
