Interview expenses

Interview expenses may be given by the University to help towards candidates out-of-pocket expenses incurred when travelling to and from an interview with the University.

To be eligible for interview expenses, normally;

  • The job must be one for which recruitment from within the local area would not normally provide a sufficient applicant pool for consideration.
  • The candidate must be living more than 30 miles away from the interview location.
  • Claims should be made within 1 month of interview date.

Any candidates which meet the eligibility should be provided with the guidance for candidates which includes an expenses claim form.  Candidates should be advised that any claims submitted must include all original receipts.
