The University, as an international institution, offers student exchange arrangements with other universities in many countries. Stirling is currently involved in ERASMUS exchange agreements with 26 universities in Europe. Some 65 Stirling students each year study in the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain and Sweden. Students must apply by December of their second year to study abroad in either the autumn or spring semester of their third year.
Students who have a compulsory semester abroad in a French-speaking country in the spring semester of their third year will be given the opportunity to choose from one of the partner universities below. Students do not apply to the exchange programme as their semester abroad is guaranteed. Students will be contacted by the Division towards the end of semester 4 with further information. The University of Stirling has been participating in an exchange with WSU since 1993. Internationally renowned, WSU is located in Pullman, a vibrant college town in eastern Washington State.
