Japan Week: Japanese Food Demonstration

Venue: Lecture Theatre, INTO Building, University of Stirling

Join us as the chef of the Consulate General of Japan in Scotland gives a Japanese food demonstration.  The chef, Mr Ken Ishihata, will talk on the history of sushi and its regional variations, before demonstrating the skill of creating nigiri sushi.  There will also be time for Questions.

Mr Ishihata has been the Consul General's chef for one year, having previously worked at the Michelin starred hotel and spa Chateau De Courban in France.

A food tasting and drinks reception will follow the demonstration.


This event is part of the University of Stirling's Japan Week 2018. The event is free to attend and open to all, but places should be booked in advance here.
