Japan Week: The Art of Shishu

Venue: Rooms 2A9 and 2A11, Cottrell Building, University of Stirling

Join Ms Kumiko Kimura of Atomi University, Japan, for an introduction to the art of shishu (Japanese embroidery).

Ms Kimura graduated from Women's Art College. She teaches Shishu at a high school attached to Atomi University, as well as at a Culture Centre in Yokohama. Ms Kimura has won many awards, including the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award which she has won six times.


This event is part of the University of Stirling's Japan Week 2017. The event is free to attend and open to all, but places should be booked in advance here.
