2.00PM - 6.30PM

Venue: Room 2A13, Cottrell Building, University of Stirling

Would you love to learn the art of dressing in a kimono? Then this is your chance! Have your hair and make-up done in the traditional Japanese style by Ms Mio Shapley and friends, and get dressed in a beautiful kimono. After your makeover you will take part in our Kimono Fashion Show.

Please note that the ladies kimonos available are UK size 6-10.  One size fits all for men.

On the day, you will meet with our Japanese colleagues for a make-up and hair make-over, and you will then be dressed in your kimono for the day.  Once everyone has been transformed, there will be a catwalk rehearsal and sound-check, before the show begins at 6pm.

This event is part of the University of Stirling's Japan Week 2017. The event is free to attend and open to all, but places should be booked in advance here. Participation in the kimono makeover and catwalk show is limited to 17 women and 3 men.
