There will be plenty of time for questions and feedback during the presentations and coffee-breaks.  We are also pleased to announce the keynote speech by Prof Bernard Burnes. We hope that you can join us at this event. Attendance is free, but the space is limited and first come first served basis.

Keynote by Prof Bernard Burnes:

Scholarship in the 21st Century:  What it Means For You and Your Career

Bernard Burnes is Professor of Organisational Change at Stirling Management School.  He is one of the leading international authorities on organisational change.  His research covers organisational change in its broadest sense.  In particular, he is concerned with the way in which different approaches to change promote or undermine sustainability and ethical behaviour in organisations. He holds a BA (Hons) in Economic and Social History and a PhD in Organisational Psychology.

Bernard has published widely in academic and professional journals. He is the author of 70 academic journal articles, some 30 books and around 60 book chapters. He is the author of Managing Change (7th edition), the best-selling European textbook in the field, Editor of the Routledge book series Understanding Organizational Change, Joint Editor of the Routledge Companion to Organizational Change, and Associate Editor of the Journal of Change Management. His published output receives over 1300 citations per year and many of his articles appear on journals’ ‘most read’ lists.
