CHALLENGE DEBATE: AUTUMN 2018 - Do we have a moral responsibility to save the planet?

The University of Stirling, in partnership with the Friends of Logie Kirk, is hosting a debate focusing on the impact of climate change. What can we do as individuals to make a difference, and do we have a moral responsibility to save the planet?
Four perspectives from leading experts:

  • Martin Valenti, Strategic Director, Scottish Land Commission
  • Adrian Shaw, Climate Change Officer, Church of Scotland
  • Professor Alistair Jump, expert in plant ecology
  • Dr Daisy Dent, expert in tropical ecology

Event Format

  • Arrival and registration from 7.15pm.
  • The main presentation will start at 7.30pm followed by an expert panel debate and audience Q&A.
  • This event is free to attend, please register through Eventbrite to book a place.

Please note capacity for this event is limited and tickets will be allocated on a first come first serve basis, maximum number of tickets 4 per booking.
