What's on where? Your programme for the day

Community Open Doors Day aims to bring every part of the campus alive by inviting the local community to join students and staff in celebrating the University’s 50th Anniversary.
The programme offers something for all ages. Activities include hands-on science fun for children; engaging short talks by experts; a chance to explore the history of the University and record your own memories; a guided tour of the Art Collection and our own Daily Mile Challenge around the beautiful campus.
We want to encourage as many alumni and local residents as possible to bring along old photos etc to the event (and also be willing to be interviewed to share their memories of the university). Come and see what's in the University Archives within the Library.
Join us and explore what’s on offer, question our experts and delve into the fascinating worlds of science, art, politics, history and sport.
