Free Movie Nights for Students

In partnership with Macrobert Arts Centre, we're offering a limited number of free tickets to several screenings throughout the semester as part of the university's 'BeConnected' programme (free community building activities for students and staff).

Movie choice and timings will be released no later than 1 week prior to the event via email and follow the below themes:

Sunday 26 January: A Real Pain (Passed)

Sunday 16 February: Saturday Night (R - suitable for viewers 17+, children under 17 can watch if accompanied by a parent/guardian). The movie will commence at 4:30PM and check in will open from 16:15. Please make your way to Macrobert Reception and find our Residence Assistants in the purple t-shirts/jumpers to check in!

• Sunday 13 April: TBC

There also will be free pizza included after the film screening for all dates!

These events are designed to help you enjoy your time on campus, take a breather from studies/work, and meet new people. Sound great? Simply book your preferred date(s) via the link and then head to the Macrobert Reception at the indicated time within your confirmation email/QR code to check in for your ticket, we may be unable to check you in if you arrive late.

Please note that due to a high number of 'no shows' at these events, we will now be running all of our events on a first come first serve basis to help combat this. This means that if you are unable to book a ticket, please do just come along on the day and we will be able to accommodate if you are one of the first.
