Venue: A3 Lecture Theatre, Cottrell Building, University of Stirling
Allan Little’s illustrious career with the BBC spanned over 31 years. He held several roles from news and current affairs researcher to foreign correspondent reporting on such issues as the Gulf war to the break-up of Yugoslavia. Allan's final post at the BBC was as a special correspondent. In this role, he reported on devolution and led the BBC's coverage of the Scottish independence referendum.
In this lecture, Allan will speak about public service broadcasting and its future in UK broadcasting. Given the forthcoming discussions on Charter renewal for the BBC, this is set to be a fascinating talk.
