Be Connected
Discover a programme of online events, resources and activities designed to keep you connected with the University community. Activities range from live workouts hosted by our Sports Centre staff and friendly drop in coffee sessions, to quiz nights with the Students' Union and meditation sessions.

togetherall
All our students have access to our 24/7 online support with our partners at togetherall, a digital mental health support service. It's completely anonymous – so you can express yourself in confidence and openly. In addition to togetherall’s online community, users have access to a wealth of useful resources, including tailored self-help courses.
Employability support
We're ranked Top 15 in the World for careers services (UK International Student Barometer (ISB) Benchmark and Global ISB Benchmark 2018). Our Careers and Employability Services team are available online to support you to develop your employability skills and prepare for your future career. A limited number of in-person appointments are available by request.
Gaining work experience
We work with organisations providing work-based learning and student placements/internships. Those that can continue with social distancing will go ahead (depending on provider agreement), and we have secured a number of remote and virtual placement and internship opportunities for our students and graduates. We work with faculties to support credit-bearing placements and industry-based projects which can also be undertaken remotely.
Career-development resources are available to all students on our virtual learning platform – Canvas.
My Stirling Award
Our My Stirling Award is a way to gain recognition for your extra-curricular and community achievements. It supports you to explore your skills through on-campus opportunities and beyond. You can gain the confidence to try new things and develop your sense of community. It gives you a competitive edge in the graduate jobs market.
Employability Services
Our Careers and Employability Services team will invite you to engage with employers at virtual careers fairs and events. This will help you make the most of our connections with business and volunteering opportunities
