Our Pre-sessional English Language courses are designed to improve your English language skills to the level required by your chosen degree at Stirling. The courses are delivered in partnership with global education leader, INTO University of Stirling.
New online courses
Due to the Coronavirus crisis, the University has withdrawn all on-campus courses for summer 2020 – but you can study your Pre-sessional English Language course entirely online. The online courses have been designed to provide the same high-quality level of teaching and student support as the on-campus courses.
For online courses, you don't need to hold a CAS or a Tier 4 (General) visa to study the course.

Our Admissions team will get in touch with students accepted onto the 12-week on-campus course and offer the equivalent online course. Students accepted onto the 6-week on-campus course will be offered the 8-week online course.
If you had a place on an on-campus course
If you had already applied for accommodation for the Pre-sessional English on-campus course, we will automatically cancel your application for accommodation for the Pre-Sessional English programme.
If you had already applied for accommodation both an on-campus Pre-sessional English course and a postgraduate course you do not need to make a new application for your postgraduate course accommodation. We will hold your application for your postgraduate course and send out an offer in due course.
