First Step aims to help students make the most of the opportunities available to them while they study, promoting options as diverse as paid internships to starting their own small business, volunteering in the UK to travelling overseas. By being actively involved in the student experience they will not only contribute more fully to the community but also develop crucial employability skills before they graduate.
As an organisation, First Step gives you a valuable opportunity to inform Stirling students about your organisation and the opportunities you provide. We are interested in hearing from organisations that have current opportunities that fit under one of the following categories:

The event will take place at the University of Stirling, in the Atrium within the Andrew Miller Building. A map of the campus is available at: http://www.stir.ac.uk/about/getting-here
The event will be open to students from 4.30-6.00pm. Access to exhibitors will be available from 3.30pm to enable you to set up your stand before the event starts. We have arranged with Security to allow you to drop off your materials in front of the Andrew Miller Building. Once your materials are unloaded, please park your vehicle in the Cottrell Car Park.
Parking is available behind Cottrell Building. Please note that Pay & Display machines are in operation in all campus car parks. Pay & display operates from 9am till 5pm and rates are as follows: up to 1 hour - £1.00, 1-3 hours - £2.00. From 5pm parking is free of charge.

Teas, coffee and water will be available for exhibitors during the event.
If you want to send any materials for the event in advance, please send them to Careers and Employability Service, Cottrell 3A1, University of Stirling, Stirling FK9 4LA on or before Wednesday 6 February. They must be clearly labelled for the Careers and Employability Service with your organisation’s name on them so that they can be delivered in advance to your stand space.
