This is Your Life

Our ‘This is Your Life’ event aims to help students make the most of the opportunities available to them while they study, from part-time jobs to paid internships, setting up their own business to volunteering in the UK and abroad. Organisations are invited to host exhibition stands and provide presentations on opportunities they have on offer.

This event will now take place in mid-January, following a change in the new semester times at the University of Stirling.  It is targeted particularly at 2nd and 3rd-year students but is also open to graduating students. Find out more

Step into sessions

We deliver a variety of Step into sessions which offer students both general and industry specific career advice on CVs and applications, online testing, assessment centres, interviews and using social media in your job hunt. If you are interested in presenting one of these workshops then view the sessions for further details and email us employers@stir.ac.uk to register your interest.

Workshops in faculties

The Careers and Employability Service works closely with individual subject areas within the University.  If you would like to establish a relationship with a subject area we would be happy to put you in touch with the appropriate contacts. For a full list of subjects offered at the University of Stirling.

All of our events and workshops hugely benefit from employer participation, students are always keen to hear about recruitment processes directly from ‘the horse’s mouth’ .
