Accommodation Guarantee

The University provides a guarantee for accommodation to all new students. If you are a postgraduate student, we will guarantee you an offer of University accommodation, provided you apply by the advertised date.

How to Apply

Applications for accommodation open from April onwards as long as you have received and accepted a conditional or unconditional offer of study at Stirling.
Applications for accommodation should be made online via the university portal and full instructions will be sent from the Admissions Office once you have met your conditions and your place is confirmed.
In order to accept your offer of University accommodation, you be required to pay a £300 rent pre-payment. This £300 will be deducted from the first rent payment in September 2018.

All off-campus residences are within easy reach of the campus by foot, bicycle or public transport.

Accommodation Contract Dates for 2018/19 are as follows:

These dates indicate your contract period, so please ensure you arrange your travel plans accordingly.
All accommodation for postgraduate students is offered on a 50 week let basis for session 2018/19 meaning that students can continue to occupy their rooms over the Christmas vacation period.
