Reading Chernobyl: Psychoanalysis, Deconstruction, Literature
Stuart Lindsay has just completed his PhD thesis, entitled Reading Chernobyl: Psychoanalysis, Deconstruction, Literature. He is a teaching assistant at the University of Stirling in the Division of Literature and Languages, and the Web Officer of the International Gothic Association. He is currently researching cultural methods of trauma abreaction in local survivors of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, videogaming as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Gothic expressions of anxiety in late twentieth and twenty-first century literature.
