Alumni ambassadors can spread the word about the University, its programmes, facilities and campus to prospective students.  Our volunteers serve as contact points for students in their area interested in Stirling and they also assist academics and students travelling or studying abroad.

Throughout the academic year, there are many recruitment fairs and visits to institutions in which our ambassadors assist academic and student recruitment staff.  Alumni are on hand to speak to prospective students about the University, Stirling and student life.  Prospective students are keen to speak with graduates about what it was really like at Stirling.

We believe Stirling has two big selling points - the flexibility of the degree structure and the campus.  Also our size, with around 12,500 students over three campuses allows you to feel at home very quickly. What would your highlights be from your time at Stirling?

Would you be able to assist with the following?

  • Assisting member of staff at recruitment fairs and visits to institutions
  • Helping at open days and applicant days
  • Building links with your old schools
  • Providing quotes and testimonials for publications
  • Offering informal advice to alumni moving into your area.
