Gender pay gap reporting regulations

The University considers gender equality as intrinsic to everything we do, and critical to recruiting, retaining and nurturing the greatest talent in staff and students. The University of Stirling places gender equality in relation to retention, continuation and success of staff at the heart of our Equality Outcomes and Strategic Plan to 2021.

The University of Stirling is required to publish gender pay gap data, in line with the 2012 Scottish Specific Duties. The 2017 UK regulations, which stipulate more extensive analysis, do not apply to Universities in Scotland, however we have produced this gender pay gap data and information to allow for direct and meaningful comparison with other UK organisations.
