Simon Anderson

Simon Anderson is an independent research consultant. An applied social researcher, he has worked as a commissioner, manager, practitioner and strategist in a range of policy research environments, including academia, central government and the private sector.

From 2003 until 2014, he was the founding Director of ScotCen Social Research (ScotCen), which forms part of NatCen Social Research - the UK's largest independent social research institute. Simon has a particular interest in issues around crime and justice, but has worked across a range of policy areas, using both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
