James Dick is a Technical Manager in the Institute of Aquaculture. He has been a member of staff at the University since 1983 joining as a Trainee Technician in Biological Sciences before moving to the Institute of Aquaculture. During this period of service he has contributed to more than 75 publications in scientific journals.
James is responsible for technical management in the Institute of Aquaculture. He has specific responsibility for providing technical support to the Aquaculture Nutrition group. This involves support of ongoing research projects with various funding agencies as well as providing support for the learning and teaching objectives of the group. He also has responsibility for quality control for Nutrition Analytical Service which provides an analytical service to the aquaculture and human health industries.
