Welcome to the Master of Research in Business and Management course. We hope you are looking forward to starting your course in a few weeks.
I am Dr Dean Pierides, the Programme Director for the course, and I look forward to meeting you on Monday 9 September 2019.
The University of Stirling Management School will be running a number of events in September to ensure that you settle in quickly and that you understand how your new university can help you with your studies. These classes are extremely useful for you and attendance is compulsory.
The Stirling Management School Induction Lecture will be held on Monday 9 September 2019, from 10.00-12:00 in the Logie Lecture Theatre.
The MRes Business and Management Research Methods Induction lecture will be held on Monday 9 September 2019 from 13:00-16:00 in room 2A19.
At the course induction lecture you will get to meet your classmates and some of the academic staff who will be guiding your studies for the rest of the year.
I will explain the structure of the course, discuss what we expect from you and take any questions about what you expect from us.
Please check this important induction website again soon for further information regarding the start of semester.
If you have any questions regarding the programme, please contact the Programme Administrator who will be happy to answer any questions or queries you may have. E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your confirmed timetable for the first few weeks at Stirling will be available here soon.
Your provisional reading list can be viewed here: MRes Provisional Reading List 2019-20. However, please note that we do not recommend you buy text books prior to arrival as these are subject to change.
